Trademark Usage Guidelines

These Trademark Use Guidelines (“Guidelines”) set out the requirements and specifications of Platformr.cloud Inc. (“Platformr”) for use of the Platformr brand (as defined in the applicable license agreement). Proper and consistent use of the Platformr brand is critical to preserve the brand image and its recognition, strength, and significance as a source identifier in the marketplace. 

All licensees of the Platformr marks must comply with these Guidelines in all uses of the Platformr marks and brand, including in all advertising, marketing, and promotional materials, trade show displays, signage, manuals and other documentation and materials provided with any licensed products or services, social media posts and other permitted uses. 

Nothing contained in these Guidelines will be construed as conveying any license or other rights to any trademarks other than the Platformr mark, expanding the scope of permitted use of the Platformr brand, or limiting any obligations of a licensee under the applicable license agreement. In the event of any conflict between these Guidelines and the terms of the applicable license agreement, the terms of the license agreement control.

Platformr has the right to revise these Guidelines at any time on thirty (30) days’ written notice.

Guidelines and Specifications for Proper Trademark Use

Typography. Typography is an important element of the Platformr brand identity. The preferred fonts for promotional materials are:

VARINO: MAIN LOGO FONT / ACCENT FONT
DOSIS: LOGO SECONDARY FONT / ACCENT FONT
SARABUN: HEADLINES
ROBOTO: SUBHEADS / CONTENT

Logo. Whenever possible, use the Platformr logo at least once in every item of printed material or digital application. Contact Platformr for additional color options including all white and all black.

The approved primary colors for the Platformr logo are as outlined below:

Logo Size

The appropriate size of the logo should be determined based on design clarity, legibility, and aesthetic appeal. The overall proportions of the logo may not be altered or skewed in any way.

Logo Placement and Spacing

Do not crowd the logo with images, text, or other graphics that might weaken its impact or legibility. 

The amount of clear space around the logo should be a minimum of 30% of the logo height, as shown below:

No Alteration. Do not alter or distort the Platformr mark in any way. For example, do not:

change the spelling; 
deviate from the preferred colors or font;
shorten, abbreviate, or create acronyms from the mark; 
add or remove any punctuation, words, or design elements; or
split, hyphenate, or combine words. 

Use Only as an Adjective. Always use Platformr only as an adjective, never as a noun or verb, and never in the plural or possessive form (unless the mark itself is in plural or possessive form). 

For example:

Correct: Our customers enjoy Platformr products and services.
Incorrect: Our customers enjoy Platformr’s.
Incorrect: Our customers enjoy Platformr’s products and services.

No Descriptive or Generic Use. Never use the Platformr mark in a way that suggests a common, descriptive, or generic meaning.

Whenever possible, use the generic term for the licensed product or service following Platformr. 

For example:

Correct: Platformr CloudOps solution is popular. 
Incorrect: Platformr is popular.

Trademark Notice. Whenever possible, all advertisements, promotional and marketing materials, user documentation, and other printed material should include the following notice:

Distributed by [LICENSEE NAME] under license from Platformr. Platformr is a trademark of Platformr.Cloud Inc.

This notice may appear anywhere on the printed material but should generally be set out separate from other text (for example, at the end of a document or bottom of a web page).

If it is not possible to include this notice, the appropriate trademark notice symbol should appear in superscript or subscript immediately following the Platformr mark, as follows: PlatformrTM

It is not necessary to use the symbol every time the Platformr mark appears. At a minimum, the symbol should be used at least once in each piece of printed material preferably at the first or most prominent place where the Platformr mark appears. 

Use of the trademark notice symbol may be optional where difficult to apply (for example, on embroidered material).

Trademark rights and proper notice symbols Company from country to country. Do not use the registered trademark symbol ® in connection with Platformr mark in countries where it has not been registered.

Make Trademarks Stand Out. It is important to distinguish the Platformr mark from surrounding text in printed material to emphasize its brand name significance. Options include presenting the trademark in:

All capital letters or with only the first letter capitalized.

A different typeface such as bold.

Quotation marks.

No Endorsement. Do not use the Platformr brand in a manner that implies that any non-Platformr products, services, websites, or publications, are endorsed, sponsored, licensed by, or affiliated with Platformr.
